Maze-One Becomes Incubeta Maze-One

An interview with CEO Tim van der Bilt

In September 2021, Maze-One was officially acquired by Incubeta and now goes by a new name: Incubeta Maze-One. Incubeta is a team of over 700 creators, thinkers, makers and doers working across 18 offices globally to unlock business growth for clients including Google, Hyundai, Netflix, HBO and L'Oréal. The Incubeta group has grown 20 fold over the past 7 years, such as through various acquisitions, combining capabilities across the full spectrum of digital disciplines.

In this article Incubeta Maze-One Founder and CEO, Tim van der Bilt, tells us more about this big step forward.

From start-up to scale-up… in just a matter of years.

“It went by very fast. In 2018, I started this as a full-service marketplace agency. In just a few years we grew rapidly, in the Netherlands and also abroad. In 2021 we had quite a few companies asking for our hand, but when we opened conversations with Incubeta, we more or less immediately knew we had found the right home.”

What will this next big step bring?

From a client’s viewpoint, are there any changes?

“No. Our clients will keep the same contacts and we will continue to provide the best services and advice on marketplaces. I will continue to lead the company as CEO. The only thing that will visibly change is our branding, such as our new name and logo."
